small, authentic, local tournament in Castelldefels, just 20 minutes from Barcelona,
where visiting teams will be well looked after by the host club. Open to male
veterans' teams with the ladies' category being open age. Held every year in June. |

YOUTH HOCKEY FESTIVAL
JULY
2010 IN TERRASSA
 | One
of the biggest, and best, international youth hockey festivals in Spain. Held
every two years when Terrassa is invaded by hundreds of children form all over
Europe to take part in a sunny, smiley tournament. Come join the locals, Dutch
and Germans in the fun! |
MATARO
SEVENS
JULY 2010
IN MATARO
 | Mataro
celebrates an annual festival of hockey with a difference. Its indoors and its
hockey sala. We apologise in advance for the heat of the event, but make no apology
for the fun. Hockey all day long followed by dinner with the participating teams
and then onto the town fiesta - the tournament coincides with Mataro's biggest
party of the year. |

MERCE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
SEPTEMBER 2010 IN BARCELONA
 | This
tournament has been around for over 30 years and we have entertained teams from
the UK, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Ireland and Italy. Open to vets in the
mens category and open age in the ladies. Normally
coincides with La Merce (http://www.bcn.cat/merce/en/index.shtml)
which is Barcelona's Festival to celebrate the patron saint of the city. Fun,
fireworks, free live music and a lot more. We
will of course also play some hockey as well |

VIIth
EUROPEAN SUPPORTERS CUP
JUNE
2010 IN BARCELONA
 | This
tournament has been won by fans’ teams from Chelsea, FC Barcelona, Spain (yeah
we know it’s a country) and Athletic Club Bilbao amongst others. Teams stay in
the heart of Barcelona and play on green pitches under a blue sky before heading
off to a big tapas dinner with their opponents followed by more fancy footwork
all night long. Teams must play in the official club colours and represent their
team with honour and respect to all. |

PROGRESO CARRASCO TOURNAMENT
JUNE 2010 IN BARCELONA
 | A
small, local tournament run in honour of one of the host club’s greatest members
– Progresso Carrasco. A day of football in Barcelona across the road from FCB’s
training grounds. Open to social/amateur level teams. Accommodation can be arranged
in either the city centre or on the coast – sea or swimming pool? |

BARÇA SEVENS
OCTOBER
2010 IN BARCELONA
 | Our
version of the Anglo-Spanish Cup, seven-a-side style. Held on green pitches in
the centre of Barcelona all day Saturday. Definitely a fun event, but everybody
wants to win, don’t they? Open to all ages. |

BEACH SOCCER
2010
 | A
series of beach soccer tournaments held in the Summer months up and down and all
around Barcelona. We can’t really think of a better idea than a dip in the sea
in between matches. Both male and female open age categories. |

VALL D'ARO
2010
 | Our
favourite kind of tournament. An authentic, local tournament with a large majority
of the clubs being Catalan/Spanish. There are two tournaments – a 7-a-side tournament
for the upto U12s at Easter and one for the older age groups at the end of June. |

 | This
is one for the big boys. Every Easter teams of the calibre of Arsenal, Ajax, Inter
Milan and of course, FC Barcelona make the trip to the Costa Brava for this one. |

 | A
lovely tournament on the Costa Daurada for the little ones. Friday for the boys
born 2002/2003 and Saturday for the boys born 2000/2001. Additional friendlies
can be arranged as well. |

KINGS U14s TOURNAMENT
JANUARY
2010 IN CASTELLDEFELS

in Castelldefels at the beginning of January this tournament attracts some of
the top U14 teams in the country. Based in a welcoming town just 20 minutes away
from Barcelona. |

CAIXA MANLLEU TOURNAMENT
AUGUST 2010 IN SANT JULIA VILATORTA
 | Welcome
to one of the biggest basketball festivals in Spain. The small village of Sant
Julia Vilatorta is turned into a centre of basketball over the last weekend of
August. Perfect dates for some testing games against mostly local opponents. The
